Scholarships
Two Seniors Receive $1,000 Each
The Foundation is pleased to award $1,000 scholarships to two Colonial Beach High School seniors -- Vanessa Alicea and Ariana Druce -- who will receive $500 this Fall and $500 next Spring. Foundation Scholarship Committee members Linda Brubaker and Debbie Chedester coordinated applications and conducted interviews of potential recepients.
Vanessa plans to study business and economics at Randolph College in Lynchburg, Virginia. Arianna is interested in studying environmental science and sustainability, as well as business; she will attend George Mason University.
The Foundation congratulates these two young women and wish them well as they begin their collegiate journey. Read our press release to learn more.
Ornaments
Both the LOVE Golf Cart and Town Pier ornaments are available at Colonial Buzz Espresso and Wine Bar (234 Colonial Ave) and Beach Paws Boutique (116 Hawthorne St). Ornaments are $25 each.
