Donate Appreciated Stocks and Bonds

Designate IRA Distributions
If you are at least 73 years old, consider designating a portion of your annual required minimum distribution (up to $100,000) as a Qualified Charitable Distribution to the Foundation and those monies can be excluded as gross income for Federal income tax purposes in the year of the gift.

Bequests
Designate the Colonial Beach Community Foundation as a beneficiary in your Will or Trust.

Consult with your tax advisor about the latest tax rules for charitable giving.
NOTE: We use Givebutter, a fundraising platform which offers a suite of tools that includes payment processing. In the widget below you will have the option to cover the standard credit card processing fee so CBF will receive 100% of the donation. You can also give a small tip to Givebutter to keep all the other suite of tools free for us to utilize. This is not a requirement to donate to CBF.
