Each spring the Foundation awards at least one scholarship to a Colonial Beach High School senior to help defray costs for the next steps in their educational journey, whether they are going to a community college, four-year college or university, or technical or skilled trade program.

A scholarship is typically $1,000 with $500 being awarded for the fall semester and the remaining $500 awarded in the spring.

Scholarships are funded through generous donations made to the Foundation’s Scholarship Fund.

NOTE: We use Givebutter, a fundraising platform which offers a suite of tools that includes payment processing. In the widget above you will have the option to cover the standard credit card processing fee so CBF will receive 100% of the donation. You can also give a small tip to Givebutter to keep all the other suite of tools free for us to utilize.

This is not a requirement to donate to CBF.
