Hello June! Festivals, parades, boating, swimming, and long summer days.
Our Together We Thrive Raffle is underway! We will only sell 350 tickets so get yours before they are gone! You don't want to miss the chance to win $5,000. Drawing will be held September 14 at the Beach Music Festival (need not be present to win).
The net proceeds this year go toward our Scholarship Fund.

Spring Grants Cycle

We’re Excited to Announce This Year’s Grant Recipients!
Thanks to the success of last year’s Northern Neck Beach Music Festival, the Colonial Beach Community Foundation proudly awarded $20,000 in grants to support projects that strengthen and uplift our town.
Here’s how those funds are making a difference:
Colonial Beach Volunteer Fire Department
$5,000 for specialized equipment for extraction and embankment rescues
$2,000 for fire prevention education in schools and the wider community
Colonial Beach Historical Society & Museum
$1,000 to enhance the garden area with outdoor seating, lighting, and other improvements
CB Creative
$1,000 for permanent signage
CB Greenspace
$1,200 for durable, waterproof educational signage
CB Community Center
$2,500 to support ballfield construction
CB United Methodist Church – Quarter Gym
$500 to purchase fitness equipment
WWER Radio
$3,113 to buy equipment for live broadcasts of local sports and community events
Colonial Beach Housing & Development Authority
$2,500 to assist with repairs to low-income, senior housing
Downtown Colonial Beach
$3,500 reserved for the Light Up the Night project, bringing festive lighting to downtown businesses to create a safer, more welcoming atmosphere

Each of these organizations can use your support—whether it’s your time, talent, or monetary donation. You can make a donation at Donate. Designate "other" and specify the project in the comment section.

LOVE Golf Cart and Town Pier ornaments make great gifts any time of the year--for family, friends, party hosts, teachers. Ornaments are $25 each and are available at Beach Paws Boutique (116 Hawthorne St), Colonial Buzz (215 Washington Ave, 8 am - 12 pm), and Magnolia Hall (414 Washington Ave.).

We’re seeking community members with a heart for philanthropy and a desire to improve the quality of life in and around Colonial Beach to join our Board of Directors. If you're ready to take a leadership role, we’d love to talk with you.
But you don’t need to be on the Board to get involved. We welcome anyone in the community who wants to make a difference.
