4-H Campers Talk About Their Week At Camp
At our June meetup, 4-H Campers Cassidy and Gabriella spoke to us about their week-long adventure, where they made new friends and enjoyed giving archery and canoeing a try. Their parents expressed their thanks to the community for giving their kids the opportunity to experience 4-H camp.
We also heard from Wendy Herdman, Virginia Cooperative Extension (VEC) Agent and Unit Coordinator for 4-H Youth Development (pictured above with Cassidy and Foundation President Michele Inderrieden). Ms. Herdman spoke of the long relationship between the Foundation and VEC. Youth Development is one of the Foundation's strategic objectives and helping local kids attend 4-H Camp is one way we achieve that objective.

6th Annual Northern Neck (NNK) Beach Music Festival
Town Hill is the place to be on Saturday, September 14 from 11 AM until 6 PM. Enjoy delicious fresh food, local wine and craft beers, and live music by the Feature Attraction Band, Band of Oz, and Motown Butta.
Raffle -- $5,000 Prize
Every year, in conjunction with the NNK Beach Music Festival, the Foundation holds a cash-prize raffle. We sell a limited number of tickets (350) for $50 each, guaranteeing $5,000 to the person with the winning ticket.
You can purchase tickets every Thursday morning at the Farmer's Market outside the Colonial Beach Volunteer Fire Department, on the corner of Colonial and Douglas Avenues.
