Scholarships

The Foundation is committed to the overall development of the young people in our community and advancing their education. In small town rural areas, identifying and championing educational opportunities is vital. To that end, the Foundation is pleased to fund and award scholarships to graduating high school seniors seeking further education. Each year, we award at least one $1,000 scholarship to a Colonial Beach High School senior.

To apply, a student must:

Maintain a 2.0 or higher GPA.
Have performed at least 30 hours of community service.
Pursue further education at a 2- or 4-year college or university, or a technical or trade school.

Email us at [email protected] for more information to include applying for a scholarship, donating to the scholarship fund, or setting up and funding a named or memorial scholarship.

To make a donation at anytime, select the Donate button at the top of any of our webpages and then select Youth Scholarships from the drop-down list.

We are striving to expand the scholarship program to include Westmoreland High School students and, eventually, older adults who want to return to the classroom or earn workforce certifications. Your donations will help us achieve those goals.
